Mike's Pay It Forward

Part 1:
The 11-year old boy, Trevor, living with his alcoholic mother. An assignment assigned by Mr. Simonet, his social studies teacher, the assignment was to think of something to change the world and make it happen. Trevor's idea was to help three people, and the 3 people will try to pay it forward to three other people; His effort to make a difference affected people in his life, and people that he doesn't even know.

Part 2:
For my act of kindness, my group and I (Cameron, Kaecee, Ryan, And Daniel) decided to donate used and new toys. We decided to donate toys because we have toys that we don't use anymore, and its almost Christmas. We donated the toys to 'Helping Hand Foundation' which gives the toys to immigrate families in Winnipeg. We donated the toys on December 17th at 12:00 PM.

Part 3:
Our act of kindness went well because we gathered all of our unwanted toys and donated it all. We went to a church that sends toys to immigrate families, and then we asked the clerk if she knew what Pay It Forward is, also asked her if she would Pay It Forward. When we donated the toys, I felt joyful because I knew it will go to a children that might not afford toys, and that the children will have a good childhood memory. The Clerk was happy and shocked that five boys are donating toys to their foundation, and that we are helping out our community.

Part 4:
The idea of Pay It Forward is that we can help out people step by step, and maybe they will do the same for others in need. I think my act of kindness made a difference in children's lives because they will have something for Christmas and will remember having a good Christmas when they're older.
