Part 3
I helped my grandma out on December 20th by watching my little sisters. I watched my sisters when my grandma went out and we ran around the house, and watched Treehouse. I felt annoyed because when I was tired she kept on taping me and I felt kinda happy because it's fun playing with her. My grandma was happy because she had time to herself. I didn't ask her to pay it forward because I forgot.
Part 4
Acts of kindness is important because if people only think of themselves and there's a problem in the world people wont care about it and they wont do anything about it.

Nino's Pay It Forward
Part 1:
In my thoughts, paying it forward means doing a random act of kindness knowing that you are getting nothing in return. Doing a random act of kindness can be giving your place in line for someone in seems in a rush or opening the door for someone who seems to be loaded with bags. Doing a random act of kindness will let people recognize how to do the same thing to other people which will lead to paying it forward.
Part 2:
My pay it forward act of kindness were helping people shovel their yard, donating to The Salvation Army, and putting up flyers around Brooklands School. We chose these activities because it seems helpful and fun at the same time. We helped people to shovel their yard and helped people who are in need with the donation. We shoveled people's yard, donate to The Salvation Army, and put flyers around Brooklands School. We did out act of kindness in December 18th, 19, and the 20th.
Part 3:
It went pretty smooth but it wasn't all fully groups. Everyone did their job and stuff but in different times. I felt good inside, knowing that I did a good cause in this community. They reacted suprise to see people like us helping them clean their yard up. We didn't really ask to pay it forward since we were kind of nervous.
Part 4:
The idea of paying it forward is important because it lets people be nice to another and to do the same thing to other people which will lead to paying it forward. We think it did since it will tell people to helpout one another and be nice to eachother.

Trish's Pay it Forward

Part 1
- The movie " Pay it Forward" is about Trevor McKinny, a boy who was planning to Pay it Forward by making his Social Studies Homework come true. His idea is basically helping 3 people first, then those 3 people will help 3 more people then 3 more people then so on and so forth. His project was then recognized by thousands and thousands of people! So it's our turn now to pay it forward!
Part 2
- For our Pay it Forward project, Kathryn, Bennette and I chose to babysit for free. We babysat the kids of Kathryn's Cousin which are Alaine, Alex and Alyanna. We did this project last December 14, 2010 at Kathryn's house after school because that was the only time that our schedule wasn't that too hectic. We planned to do this because by then we can show people that even though we were bombarded with a lot of homework's that day, we can still show them that our small Random Act of Kindness can help people who are in need.
Part 3
- Our babysitting project was a success and was a lot of fun. We did a lot of different things that made the children happy in which made us happy too. We took pictures, eat sandwiches, made sandwiches, dance to different songs, coloring and drawing pictures, singing and speaking in French, played games like Peek-a boo, went to Facebook in our laptops, running around the house and alot of things that was really fun, so basically it was a very memorable day for us Babysitters. I felt so happy because we had a lot of fun and that we get to help Aunt Jill ( mother) with her work meeting, because who knows, maybe she got promoted or something, right? I must say, that day was really unforgettable! So I asked Alaine ( older sister) personally if she can pay it forward too ! I told her that she can do different variety of ways to help people, not just babysitting, but a bunch of different ways too. She accepted my " challenge", but she said that she'll do it when she's a little bit older, then we shaked hands as if we were talking business, and come to think of it, I think it IS talking business.
Part 4
- Pay it Forward is an important project because it helps us to recognize how people besides ourselves needs help with their everyday lives too. NO matter how small your act of kindness is, just remember that for others it might be a HUGE act of kindness! I honestly think that our project didn't made a HUGE difference in Aunt Jill's lives, but maybe it somehow did because we helped her go to that work meeting and paid us nothing, but it was worth it because we PAID IT FORWARD!

The idea of pay it forward was inspired by a boy named Trevor who was assigned an assignment from his social studies teacher to think of a way to change the world. He thought of the idea of helping three people and those three people help three more people, kind of like a chain reaction. it never stops as long as you pay the act of kindness forward. The more people you pay it forward to, the more people they it forward to and so on.
Part 2:
Tonie, Casey, and I decided to pay it forward and go door to door asking for donations to help us raise money to give to Christmas Cheerboard. Also, when someone gave us money, we gave them candycanes and a Christmas card that says; " Happy Holidays, your donation is greatly appreciated! Love, Sargent Park Students." Because we wanted to thank the people who he;ped us raise money. My group did this act of kindness on December 16th, 17th, and 19th 2010.
Part 3:
After we raised some money we went to the Christmas Cheerboard. When we told the Christmas Cheerboard. When we told the front desk that we had money for them they seemed shocked that three young girl would do that. When they brought us to Linda the lady that works the donation office, she was so happy that we would even think about doing this. She showed us around and how everything works. Just the way she made us feel when we gave her the money is unwriteable. Also we are going back after Christmas to help roll pennies.We also went superstore, Rona and wal-mart to raise money but sadly they wouldn't let us. Although it was really cold to go door to door it still felt good that we were going to help people.

Tonie's Pay It Forward.
Part 1:
In my opinion, paying it forward means helping people or doing something helpful without asking for return. Then the people that you helped, helps more people and so on.
Part 2:
My Pay it Forward act of kindness was asking for donations door to door with Casey and Diana to donate for Christmas Cheerboard. We chose this activity because we want everyone in Manitoba to have a merry christmas and also, it is not fair that only some family are getting a christmas dinner. We helped the Christmas Cheerboard by donating the money that we raised. Casey, Diana, and I went door to door to ask for donations for Christmas Cheerboard. We raised about $80.00 . We did our act of kindness on december 16th, 17th, and 19th 2010.
Part 3:
Our act of kindness went GREAT. We raised about $80.00 for 3 days. I think it's good. I felt very proud of my group for walking around the neighborhood on a -25 day to ask people for donations. The people we asked for felt surprised that Diana, Casey, and I walked around on a very cold day. The staff at the Christmas Cheerboard felt thankful for our donation and hard work. Indeed we did. We asked a couple of people to pay it forward and most of them sounded very interested but some of them didn't. People acted interested when we told them what pay it forward meant.
Part 4:
The idea of Pay it Forward is important because, if people didn't pay it forward there would probably be alot of homeless people on the street that has nowhere to stay in to be safe and warm and has no food and water to survive. I believe that our act of kindness made a difference because we raised $80.oo which probably helped a couple families through out Winnipeg.
Caseys Pay It Forward.

When we went door to door some people were kind of shocked that 3 girls are outside in -25 weather tring to help the Christmas Cheer Board, and the staff at the Christmas Cheer Board were very thankful for our donation. Yes, we did ask a couple of people to pay it forward because we wanted everyone to know, that if you pay it forward you can be helping ALOT of people. Some reactions people gave us were excited, and ready to go pay it forward, and some were just like sure that sounds like fun.

I think that the idea pay it forward is important because without some people paying it forward we would probably have alot of homeless people outside, and people who would do anything for food, to be honest I think that we really dont need anymore of that because sadly we already have abit pf that in Canada. My group Julibella, Marie, Diorella, and Marilen decided to donate toys to the children in the hospital and gave cards we made saying "You've been hit by a random act of kindness, please return the favour and pay it forward! " along with candy canes. On December 18, 2010, we decided to donate toys to the hospital just to brighten up the children's days because we all know it's not fun staying at the hospital, sick, for days. Also, we decided to give out candy canes just to perform an act of kindness and to encourage people to pay it forward.
Part 3
On Saturday, December 18th my dad drove my group and I to Health Science Centre to deliver our red Santa bag full of toys. We went to the information desk to ask where we can drop it off, but instead a nurse came and took it for us. The nurse looked happy, and was thankful. I felt very good inside although it would've been better if we got to see the kids excited and happy about the new toys.
Afterwards, we went to polo park to hand out our candy canes and the cards that went with them. But then something unexpected happened that made us change our direction. The security cards went up to us and said we couldn't hand them out inside the mall. We were disappointed and felt let down. So, we went outside to the parking lot and placed the cards under the wipers. We didn't get to say "pay it forward" face to face to people but we still had it written on cards. Although it didn't go exactly the way we planned.. we still were happy that we performed an act of kindness and hopefully inspired others to do the same.
Part 4
Paying it forward is important because it helps a lot of people whether they're less fortunate or just doesn't have the greatest life. Imagine what a bunch of people can do if it only takes one person to make a difference like Trevor in the movie.
I also hope that our cards and the toys will make a difference and encourage others to pay it forward. This project made me learn to think more about others and know how blessed we are. Who knows where just a simple act of kindness can end up.

So, we went outside to the parking lot and placed the cards under the wipers. We didn't get to say "pay it forward" face to face to people but we still had it written on cards. Although it didn't go exactly the way we planned.. we still were happy that we performed an act of kindness and hopefully inspired others to do the same.
Part 4
Paying it forward is important because it helps a lot of people whether they're less fortunate or just doesn't have the greatest life. Imagine what a bunch of people can do if it only takes one person to make a difference like Trevor in the movie.
I also hope that our cards and the toys will make a difference and encourage others to pay it forward. This project made me learn to think more about others and know how blessed we are. Who knows where just a simple act of kindness can end up.

For me, Pay It Forward is doing something helpful without anything given back. To Pay It Forward you have to help 3 people. Instead of those people returning kindness to you, they help 3 other people. Then the ones they help will again find 3 people to help.The chain will eventually get bigger and bigger. Once that happen, every person's life will get better.

For Pay It Forward act of kindness, Bennette, Trish and I chose to babysit my nieces while their mother, Joanne Jill goes to an important meeting last Tuesday, December 14. I always volunteer to watch over her daughters but this time, Trish and Bennette was with me and we had a lot of fun. We loved playing with the kids and spending time with each other.

Your act of kindness went very well. We babysat like we planned and help my cousin, Joanne to watch over her daughters.I felt really excited while we were babysitting even though it a little bit tiring. Joanne was rally grateful that we help her watch over her kids.After a while, I asked her to Pay It Forward, she said yes as a reply."I will donate my kid's gently used clothes"Joanne said.

The idea of Pay it Forward was inspired by a boy named Trevor who was assigned an assignment from his SS teacher to think of a way to change the world. He thought of the idea of helping 3 people and those 3 people help 3 people, kind of like a chain reaction. It never stops as long as you pay the act of kindness forward. The more people you pay it forward to, the more people they pay it forward to and so on.
Part 2
Marie, Julibella, Angel, Marilen and I decided to pay it forward by buying a bunch of toys and donating them to the Children's Hostpital in downtown. We also made cards that said " You've been hit by an act of kindness. Please do your part and pay it forward! " We decided to do this activity because I know how it feels to stay in a hospital 24/7 and also because we wanted to know that those kids have people out there who care for them and to make them happy. We helped out the kids in the hospital on December 18, 2010.
Part 3
When we arrived at the hospital to donate the toys for our Pay it Forward we handed it to the nurse and took a picture with her. She seemed shocked but happy that we decided to donate toys there. I felt a sense of accomplishment and happiness because of what we did, I felt like I really helped those kids put a smile on their face and make their holidays better even though I didn't get to see them. We did not ask her to Pay it Forward though we left a card that says it in the bag for them to read and hopefully pass on when they play with the toys.
We also did another Pay it Forward project at Polo Park although it didn't go as planned. Marie and I dressed up as an elf and Santa Clause and just as we were handing out the candy canes and cards the security guards told us we couldn't hand them out but they were okay with the outfits. Although it was disappointing for us, we thought of another way to Pay it Forward by putting the cards on people's windshields at the Polo Park parking lot. It was cold but definitely worth knowing that we made a positive difference!

The idea of " Pay it Forward " is important because although it starts off as just 1 person it will eventually help out many others. It's basically doing something nice to people without expecting anything in return. It's easy to do since all you have to do is help people and those people will pass it on to other people. Helping people out and knowing that they'll do acts of kindness too, warms my heart. Just a small gesture of kindness will do like holding the door open for someone, shoveling driveways, saying " thank you ", volunteering and so much more will make such a positive difference in this world. Now, could you just imagine when the whole world starts doing it? Amazing things could happen.
I really hope it made a difference in people's lives. If a group of junior high students could do this then other people should too. It doesn't take fancy things to change someone's life and I'm glad I could be apart of this.

Trevor's idea was that he helped 3 people, then each of them help another 3 people, and so on, but expect nothing in return. This idea was spread across the world, and it affected everyone, thus, all you needed was one person, to make a difference in the whole world.

My group ( Angel, Marie, Diorella, Julibella, and I ) chose to do 2 things. We decided buy toys for the kids and donate them to the Health Science Center Children's Hospital. Also, we made decorative cards that said ' You've just been hit with an act of kindness! I hope you'll return the favor and pay it forward! ' Also, there was a candy cane attatched on the back. We made the cards for people at polo park. We all chose to do this to ' Pay it Forward ' because we wanted to make children happy since they've been in the hospital for quite a while, and the cards was so people could be joyful that they've been hit with kindness. This whole event happened on December 18, 2010.

Even if we were sad, we didn't want to give up because we still wanted to complete our task to pay it forward. We ended up putting cards onto people's windshields out at the parking lot. We were cold outside, but we wanted to complete our task, so we continued until we didn't have any cards left.

We donated the toys to "Helping Hands Resources for Immigrants" which gives the toys to immigrate families in Winnipeg. We donated the toys on December the 17Th at 12 O'clock PM. I also decided to donate more toys by myself. I did it for the same reasons as before and also because some people can't get the toys themselves. The toys were donated to "The Salvation Army" which gives the toys to less fortunate people in Winnipeg. I donated the toys on December the 18Th at 5 O'clock.

Our act of kindness went great because we gathered all of our toys that we didn't need and donated all of them. When we donated the toys, I felt happy because I knew it would go to children that might not be able to afford toys. I think the children would have a good memory of someone helping them out. The Clerk was joyful and surprised that five teen boys were donating toys to their foundation for a good cause. We asked the clerk if she knew what Pay It Forward was, and she did. We also asked her if she would Pay It Forward and she said that she would, and that Helping Hands already does. She thought that it was a good idea that we wanted this to keep on going.
The other act of kindness that I did went well because the toys were donated. When I donated the toys to The Salvation Army I felt great because the toys would go to children that can not afford them. The man employed at The Salvation Army was surprised that a teenager was donating. I asked the man if he would pay it forward and he said he always does and he thought it was a good idea that we were trying to keep it going.

The nurse was very thankful because they now have a new set of toys. We did not ask her to pay it forward because we left a card in the toy bag that said, "Pay it forward!".
At Polo Park, Diorella and I were dressed up as an elf and Santa Claus. As we were ready to hand out the candy canes, the security told us we needed permission, otherwise we were not allowed. Though we were upset that our plan did not go out as what we expected, we figured out another way to "pay it forward"! At the parking lot of Polo Park, we placed the cards on people's windshields. Our group was really cold outside, but our hearts were warmth by the difference we made to help others.
Part 4:
The idea of Pay it Forward is important because it helps a lot of people, with the start of one person. Also, it isn't a hard concept to do because you're only helping 3 people, and the ones you helped do the same to 3 others. It makes people realize that one little thing can grow into one of the largest ideas in the world.
I do hope that my act of kindness made a difference because that will really feel amazing knowing I've helped someone.
