Part 1:

Ratio:
Two-term ratio - compares two quantities measured in the same units.
Three-term ratio - compares three quantities measured in the same units.
Part to part ratio - compares different parts of a group to each other.
Part to whole - compares one part to the whole group and can be written as a fraction, decimal or percent.
Examples: dogs:cats, 3:4, 1 slice to whole cake, 1:5.

Rate:
Rate - compares two quantities measured in different units.
Unit rate - a rate in which the second term is one.
Unit price - unit rate used when shopping.
Examples: $1.99/10g, 12/hr, 30km/hr.

Proportional Reasoning:
Proportion - a relationship that says that two ratios or two rates are equal.
Examples: 2/3 = 4/6, 1/2 = 4/8.

  3. GREAT JOB CAMERON! I agree with Marilen that next time, try to have more enthusiasm so the viewers will enjoy it better. Also, try to make your fonts a bit bigger. Keep up the good work!
