Hi! My name is Karen. When someone ask me if I like math I would say not really. I don't really like it because it gives me a headache just by thinking about it but I would always try my best.The best thing I did in math class was when I was in grade 4. I like it because we were playing a multiplication game where it is boys versus girls and we were so active at that time and we forgot how math is difficult.
The best unit I studied when I was in grade 7 was fractions. I did well in this unit because it is kind of easy for me. The one that made me struggle is integers,adding or subtracting. I struggle so much because I was having difficulties understanding the negative and the positive part like when you subtract negative to positive or the other way around,it makes me confuse sometimes.
In grade 8 I will pay more attention to the lecture and if I am having difficulties I can ask you or the people who knows how to do it. I would study hard and understand it better so I can keep up with the unit. This year I want to learn new things! So I can use it in my daily life and Mr. Harbeck should make sure he explains it properly so it won't be really hard :D
Last year my favorite post is Area.
Blogging help me remember the meanings more and while I'm typing it I understand it more. If I am absent that day I can just look at the blog and learn what they discuss on that day. I want to play math games on the computer so I can learn it while having fun and searching math things on different math sites.
