Part 1:
Ratio:

Rate:
Rate - compares two quantities measured in different units.
Unit rate - a rate in which the second term is one.
Unit price - unit rate used when shopping.
Examples: $1.99/10g, 12/hr, 30km/hr.
Proportional Reasoning:
Proportion - a relationship that says that two ratios or two rates are equal.
Examples: 2/3 = 4/6, 1/2 = 4/8.
