a.) 3 x 3 = 9
4 x 4 = 16
9 is closer to 11. But in this question, they're looking for side length.
Since the side length of 9 is 3, we'll use 3 for our whole number.

Now, we just need to find out one decimal to replace the blank. To find the answer to that, count the intervals between 9 and 11.
11 - 9 = 2
The estimated answer will be, 3.2 m
