Tonie's Final Percent Post

Percent - means out of 100. Example 50/100

4.1 Key Ideas: To represent a percent you can use 100 grids. One shaded grid that has all the squares shaded in represents 100%. To show a percent that is larger than 100% you shade in more than on grid. To represent a percent between 0% and 1% you shade in a part of one square

4.2 Key Ideas: Fractions, decimals, and percents can be used yo represent numbers is various situations. Percents can be written as fractions and decimals.

4.3 Key Ideas: You can use some mental math strategies such as doubling, halving, or dividing by 10 to find percents of some numbers.

4.4 Key Ideas: Percents can be combined by adding to solve problems. You can ass the combined percent ammount to the original number. Percents can be used to determine ammounts that result from consecutive percent increases or decreases. You can multiply the original number by a single percent freater than 100.

And next time when you are making a post, make sure you use different colors for headings and the links, because it looks like their is no link for yout "Percent Scribe Post".   2. Great job, Tonie! I liked how you defined each part of the chapter. Next time, change the colour you're using because it's pretty light. Also, add in some pictures & examples. Keep it up!
